Reamer Shoes
Ferro-Tube U400 series reamer shoes are used to guide rotation-resistant casing and liners through problematic wellbores.
They are designed with 360° of carbide cutting structure to ensure effective reaming though wellbore obstructions such as caving and swelling sections, wash-out pockets and ledges.
They are available in a variety of configurations to meet your project requirements.

U400 Reamer Shoe
The U400 Reamer Shoe primarily serves as a reaming guide shoe and does not contain a valve. They can be used with float collar to help guide the casing to planned depth.

- Machined blades for improved flow rate through cutting slot area
- Can be order with baffle plate

The U424 Reamer Shoe is part of our High-Pressure High-Temperature product line, it is equipped with a drill pipe float valve and can handle extreme well conditions.
Features and benefits such as:
- Unobstructed bore through the valve
- Back pressure of up to 7,500 psi
- Temperature rating of 400°F
- Single or double valve configurations
